With over 30 years of experience acquiring rental real estate, her exceptional negotiating skills have been instrumental in Solara Holdings' sustained growth and success. Maria plays a pivotal role in identifying real estate assets that align with the company’s investment strategy and long-term objectives. She has cultivated and leveraged a vast network of national commercial real estate brokerage firms, forging valuable partnerships that expand deal opportunities and enhance the firm's ability to execute strategic acquisitions.

Mike began his investing career with the purchase of a duplex then continued to acquire stabilized rental assets for passive income.
Started to add distressed single-family rentals needing improved management and rehab to increase tenant and asset value.
Purchased our first single-family fix and flip in 2006 and continued to buy and sell these assets up until 2012.
To build upon our experience as SFR owner/operator and to begin leveraging that experience to offer alternative investment options in multifamily real estate for our investors, Mike expanded acquisitions to the multifamily space.
Purchased a 62-unit multifamily complex in Lexington, NC. Our first true value-add multifamily opportunity. This property was sold in 2021 and successfully returned an annualized 8% return on cash flow and a 2x equity multiple for our investors on exit in 2021.
Solara Holdings continues to expand its portfolio with the purchase of institutional-grade multifamily apartment complexes—over 450 units since 2019.
In 2025, the firm will open its first real estate equity fund focused on acquiring an additional 5 to 7 Class A urban multifamily assets
